Our Founder
Keshet Learning Center was founded by Elysa Kaufman, M.Sp.Ed., whose passion for early childhood education and dedication to building a strong, caring community have shaped the school's mission for more than three decades. A warm, compassionate, and deeply respected educator, Elysa believes that every child deserves to be nurtured, encouraged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. She maintains general fiscal oversight of all Keshet programs, holds a Supervisory Certificate, and serves as Keshet's Educational Director and liaison to the New York City Department of Education. Under her leadership, Keshet has become a trusted Jewish early childhood learning community where children, families, and educators grow together.
Our Staff
Our teachers and staff create a warm and supportive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to grow. Our educators understand that each child develops at their own pace and work closely with families to nurture academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Our team helps lay the foundation for a lifetime of confidence and learning.
